Chalk Talk August Kit Tutorial 2013

Once again, I am sharing the August Kit Tutorial using the Chalk Talk and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets.  I must say I have really enjoyed making this project and I think you will, too. I designed 4 cards and a 3-d item with easy step by step instructions and pictures that you can follow.  The tutorial will be e-mailed to you in a PDF format.

Simply Simple



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

Despite my very busy weekend , I am happy to say that I really needed a break. My DH and I just spent the day together and enjoyed every minute of it. It seemed that the we work and work and not even getting any well deserved time together. Anyway, we have some travel plans coming up once the weather gets a bit tolerable.
Today's post is for  Simply Simple week. I did direct stamping on one of the blocks (block B).
I used So Saffron, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe for my colors. The rest is pretty much easy to figure out. Hope you like it.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I am still trying to get caught up with some chores at home, so I did not get a chance to stamp today. Instead, I am sharing a journal that I made for the girls that I went to convention with. Each one of us made something for convention and of course the gifts were so, so cute! I used one of the flowers from the Flower shop stamp set. Hope you like it.

Kind and Cozy

Happy Friday !!!

It has been a busy day for me yesterday. I meant to post this card yesterday but I fell asleep before I got the chance to do it. By the time I woke up, it was already time to go to work.
I used this new stamp set for these colors- Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Whisper White.
I also used the SA wheel Gingham that made such a cute addition. Hope you like it.

From This To This- A Second Look at ATC

I did Artist Trading Cards at convention and so I just wanted to show you the card that I made with the ATC. I used pennants using cardstock with Needlepoint Border EF for a bit of texture and the new Beautifully Baroque EF. Hope you like it.

Convention Highlights-Stampin' Up's 25th Year

I got home from convention yesterday and wanted to share the joy and excitement of Stampin' Up's 25th year. I also wanted to share some of the pictures that I took. Getting our convention bag was just the beginning- AWESOME !!!; Free Paper Pumpkin to share with our customers, new products that will be coming up soon, 25 fabulous projects that were presented to us !!!; Awards Night of course with cool band, prizes, and yummy treats including the washi tape giveaway; SUPER Great Swaps from talented stampers, and 25 colors from the Prize Patrol that each attendee enjoyed from the Holiday Catalog !!!
 
 
Happy 25th Year Anniversary Stampin' Up

It was spectacular !!! that's all I can say. We had the best times
celebrating the best year with Stampin' Up!

With wonderful demonstrators/BFF's that made convention the best-est ever!

Participated in the Guinness World Records challenge--with the goal to send as many cards from a single location as possible.

We made a difference by putting together special birthday kits for children who are patients at Primary Children's Medical Center.

I wanted to share a swap that I did that features the In Colors. I used the Designer Series Papers for the front showing the cardstock colors. Then I stamped the colors in the back.

Stampin' Up Summer Silhouettes

Another fun and exciting day today... meeting new people and seeing familiar faces...

Card swap #3- using the Summer Silhouettes stamp set. I used the Crushed Curry ink to stamp my background and then Early espresso for the sentiment. I added a DSP pennant-love the new design!!!

Wildflower Meadow

Happy Thursday !!!
First day of convention- we get our bags, and stamps, do some swapping and ....more!

Card swap #2-using the Wildflower Meadow for my background. I also wanted to show the new In Colors.I stamped the main image and then punched it with circle punch. I then added the deco label in the back of it.
Another simple card that I think you can easily duplicate and or step up. Hope you like it.

Heading to the airport today...off to Salt Lake City, Ut for some major FUN and excitement!!!.

I used the Postage Collection for my Card swap #1. I used the stripes background and a few punches.
I used a small strip of ribbon and framed the main image with the postage punch.
Just a simple card that is fun and easy to make. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple





Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I woke up early today with a list of things to do. Hopefully I will get to accomplish them and with no interruption.  I designed this card  on my class that kind of show them how to used markers for coloring.  I first used a blender pen using Crushed Curry ink that I muted down with water. I then start coloring with Crushed Curry marker in the bottom of the flower then blended it using So Saffron.  I did some piercing on the main image and also on the Gumballl  Green strip.

Stampin' Up Mosaic Madness

I found this adorable card on Laurie's blog ( Stamping Up North) She used  the Mosaic punch and she had created a flower design. I did make a few changes on mine to make it my own. I wanted a sentiment on my card so, I just used the Modern Label punch to frame it. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

I decided to play with this Postage Due stamp set that I inked for the first time. I forgot that I had bought it and just totally forgot.  Anyway, I think the colors for today worked well with this set.
Today's colors- Gumball Green, Pink Pirouette, Raspberry Ripple and Whisper White.  I stamped the background in Pink Pirouette, the postages in Raspberry and the butterfly.  Hope you like it.

Here is an ATC card that I made for our group swap and also planning to used it for a convention swap. So If you are going to convention, make ATC  so I can swap with you. They make a great A-2 card like I did on top.
